Bio


Paul Durham is a singer, songwriter and producer. As frontman for the band Black Lab, he scored two major label record deals, top-10 radio singles, national tours, dozens of songs in major film, TV, and commercial spots, as well as tens of millions of streams, producing eight studio albums along the way.


As a songwriter he has worked with dozens of writers and artists, including Andy Vowles of Massive Attack, Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, etc.), Rachel Yamagata, Natalie Imbruglia, Ryan Cabrera, as well as many indie artists, producing and engineering over twenty EP/LPs. 


As a coach for artists and business people, Paul leverages his experience as a long-term practitioner of various professional and psychological facilitation processes, working with musicians, executive clients, and small businesses in the U.S. and Europe to maximize clarity, commitment, and execution. He also founded YearOne Education, an apprenticeship-based training program for creative young people. 


A father and entrepreneur, Paul started a music production house, a licensing business, a ringtones company, a marriage counseling intensive, and has taught meditation in the U.S. and Europe. 


Right now he is working on songs for a new album.
